Composed in 2020, these three pieces have lain in waiting in the Invisible wings ever since, maturing like a fine wine, and now ready to breathe and be consumed by musical connoisseurs the world over.

Triptych as the title suggests features three tracks, the opening title track being a Triptych in itself; a musical journey that flows continuously through three interconnected sections that elicit three distinct atmospheres as we weave our way through the full 13 beautiful minutes of its length.

Touch Air, is a rhythmic odyssey, a trance-like production masterpiece for spiritual enrichment.

Pythagoras in Japan is an ambient trip to the far east. Drifting on a tanpura-like drone the piece floats off to infinity as waves of sound enmesh one another while spoken-word poetry transports us to Pythagoras’ final destination.

“All tracks were made around 2020 when I was still living in Berlin. I shared a studio with Marc (Altjira) in Marzahn, an industrial area on the city’s outskirts. The building holds around 100 studios, so many musicians are always around. We’d sometimes get together in one of the studios and listen to each other’s music. For ‘Pythagoras in Japan,’ I got help from two of my neighbours. I had made the base of the track but didn’t really know how to continue. One of my neighbours suggested adding some spoken word to it, so we browsed YouTube together and immediately found this great poem by Yoko Shibata, which fitted perfectly. My other neighbour played some live synth takes for me. I can still feel the spirit of that night in the song, which gives it extra depth for me.” (Sjoerd De Ridder, March 2024)
